By the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, there was a big migration movement from Europe to Americas.
Italy was one of the countries that sent a great number of immigrants. In South America, Brazil and Argentina received the most people. Between 1875 and 1920, 5 million immigrants arrived just in Brazil.
America was another destination chosen by the Italians. Other 5 million immigrants from Italy moved to the United States.
In the Bertolin family, we have a historic of immigrants that came mostly to Brazil and Argentina. We don’t have precise information, but we do know that there a significant number of Bertolin in the United States.
